To comprehensively enhance employees' awareness of fire safety and emergency response capabilities, Tramy Group organized an annual comprehensive fire evacuation and escape drill on June 18th. This exercise adopts a combination of desktop simulation and practical exercises, focusing on testing the practicality of emergency plans and the collaborative combat capabilities of various departments.
At 9:00 am, the group first conducted a desktop drill, explaining in detail the drill process, personnel division, and precautions. At 14:00 in the afternoon, the practical exercise officially began in the bean sprout workshop. During the simulation of welding hot work in the equipment department, welding slag ignited combustibles. Employee Wu Xin immediately pressed the manual alarm button and reported the situation to workshop director Xu Longwa upon discovering the fire.
After receiving the alarm signal, the fire control room quickly activated the fire broadcast and sound and light alarm system. Director Xu Changbo immediately dialed the emergency number of the fire station, and the Six Stove Fire Brigade immediately dispatched two fire trucks to the scene. The security team immediately set up a security area on the west side of Building 2, and the medical rescue team prepared for emergency rescue. Under the guidance of the workshop director, employees on each floor were evacuated in an orderly manner to the designated assembly point.
During the drill, the firefighting team quickly put on combat uniforms and began firefighting work. When counting the number of people, it was found that one employee was trapped. Group leader Li Ming immediately instructed Xu Peng and Ding Feng to form a search and rescue team, successfully rescuing the trapped person and transferring them to a safe area. The entire drill process was tense and orderly, and all departments cooperated seamlessly. Compared with previous drills, there was a significant improvement in response speed and disposal efficiency.
This drill has achieved significant results: firstly, it has verified the scientificity and operability of the emergency plan; Secondly, employee evacuation has become more standardized and orderly, with an average evacuation time reduced by 15% compared to last year; Thirdly, the efficiency of emergency rescue has been improved, taking only 8 minutes from discovering trapped individuals to successfully rescuing them; Fourthly, the reliability of the fire-fighting facilities and equipment has been verified, and all systems are operating normally.
The head of group security stated that through this drill, employees have further mastered key skills such as fire alarm, initial firefighting, evacuation and escape. Especially for newly hired employees, they quickly familiarized themselves with emergency procedures through practical exercises. Next, the group will strengthen special training and continuously improve emergency plans to address issues such as weak safety awareness among individual employees discovered during the drill, in order to safeguard the safety production of the enterprise.
Tramy Group always puts safety production first and conducts various emergency drills regularly every year. More than 200 employees participated in this drill, deploying 5 emergency vehicles of various types and using over 30 pieces of fire-fighting equipment. It comprehensively tested the company's emergency response capabilities and laid a solid foundation for building a strong safety defense line.
